These are extra patches from my collection. I was going to save patches of every different style of insignia for each unit, but I recently changed my mind about that. An example of how I previously saved them would be; Save 1 patch with a dark orange background, and save another patch with a light orange background. Now I just pick one or the other, and I am selling the other one here. If the unit you want isn't listed, then I don't have one for sale, sorry.

These are extra Leather or Silk Blood Chits from my collection. I collect Blood Chits of every different style I can find. I am interested in trading/buying for ones I don't have. Blood chits are usually associated with the AVG Flying Tigers, 14th Air Force Flying Tiger squadrons, and other units operating in the CBI Theater. They were sewn on the backs (either inside or outside) of flight jackets or flying suit and was intended to keep a downed pilot from being shot or otherwise harmed by the local population, many of whom had never seen a caucasian before. The flag of the government of the area being flown over was shown, as well as a message written in the local language. Paraphrased "I am a downed American Airman. I have come to help rid your country of our common enemy, the Japanese. If you keep me safe, provide food. water, shelter, and medical help to me, you will be rewarded by my government when I am returned safely to my countrymen" (The US Allied Forces). WWII US Army Folding Survival Machete / US Army Air Force Survival Knife /Machete
This machete was a very popular WWII item and was one of Cattaraugus' largest productions during the war. Also produced by Case, Imperial, and by Camillus. Maybe others as well. They have black plastic handles that fold back on the itself to reduce it storage size to measure 11 1/4" closed. The blade locks into place when opened. Full size when extended is 15 1/2". The black plastic grips are easy to hold. Also used during WWII as part of the Pilot's Bail Out Kit to be used as an escape tool, for clearing a path, for making splints & stretchers, for hunting, and as a weapon.
Original Army Surplus. There were 10 of these inside an ammo canister I just opened. I kept one, and a couple are wanted by local collectors. I am putting the few remaining up here. I cleaned one up for these pictures. The others are as found with the grease/cosmoline still on them. I got these at least 10 years ago and have stored them since then.
