Here are photographs of the plates that were issued in the first full year of US involvement in WWII. I do not own all these plates. I received help in the form of photographs from several people listed at the bottom.  I have placed a WANTED notice next to the ones I don't have. Please see this List of other WWII vintage plates I buy quantities of. I am looking for more of the ones I collect.

1942 - 1946 US Federal Use Tax Stickers These are Motor Vehicle Use Revenue Stamps.  The stamps were issued from 1942 to 1946.  When affixed to the motor vehicle, they permitted use of that vehicle for a stated period.
